Limited Scope Services.
The Clinic provides limited legal assistance only. Services are restricted to reviewing documents, identifying defects, and assisting with drafting materials for probate cases valued at $500,000 or less. The Clinic cannot represent you in court, appear on your behalf, or handle contested matters.
Educational Environment.
The Clinic is part of the Thomas Jefferson School of Law Clinical Programs. Law students work under the supervision of licensed attorneys. All assistance provided is for educational and informational purposes.
No Guarantee.
The Clinic cannot guarantee outcomes in any probate matter, including whether the court will accept or act upon submitted documents.
Confidentiality.
Information provided to the Clinic is kept confidential within the scope of the Clinic program. However, because this is a limited legal assistance clinic and not full legal representation, confidentiality protections may differ from those of traditional full scope representation.
